The Austin Matrix

I was working for Austin Free-Net, a computer literacy nonprofit, in 2012 when we decided to do something special – make a movie. Patterned after the blockbuster hit The Matrix, our version demonstrated how a lack of computer skills can keep someone out of the job market. We wrote and filmed the short film with volunteers. I played the parts of executive producer, designer, and produced/wrote/recorded all the music. It was quite an undertaking for just 8 minutes of run time, but we were very proud of the result.
